How can we help you?

November 14, 2024

Info: AgilityHealth releases enhancements, new features, and bug fixes every Wednesday overnight. Any items our customers should be aware of are usually posted on Thursdays. Not all weeks will have customer-facing items; no release notes will be posted.

Business Outcomes: Card View: Roll-up Toggle

The Roll-up Toggle feature allows users to show or hide the child cards under the parent team (example, seeing all of the sub-team cards underneath a Multi-Team).

When the roll-up view is activated, users are presented with a high-level overview of the child cards, enabling quick insights into overall performance.

By toggling the feature on, the view expands to reveal detailed information and insights for each individual card. This functionality allows users to effortlessly switch between an overview of sub-team cards for a broader perspective or delve into detailed views for more in-depth analysis.

Business Outcomes: Card View: Progress and Velocity

Each column and individual card will display a progress bar, providing a clear visual representation of work progression. For Outcomes, progress is calculated based on the number of cards within the column and the cards completion. For Projects, Milestone, and Stories progress is calculated based on the number of completed checklist items within the card.

Each individual card will also show the total number of items, and items that are completed.

Velocity calculates the average total items across the board, divided by the total number of columns.

Business Outcomes: Financials

The financial tab will give a clear way to track and visualize project finances, comparing actual spending against the approved budget over time.

Business Outcomes: Aligning and Contributing

When linking Key Results to a parent card's Outcomes or Key Results, users can now select the type of relationship:

  • Contributing: Indicates that the Outcome/Key Result contributes directly to the parent.
  • Aligning: Indicates that the Outcome/Key Result aligns with, but does not directly contribute to, the parent.

If Aligning is selected, the parent Key Result will be updated and cascade down automatically to the child Key Result, which is read only. If Contributing is selected, the child Key Result makes the update and notifies the parent Key Result.

If Aligning is selected:

  • The Key Result will appear linked to the parent but will not be editable.
  • The weight will automatically be set to 0, and no weight adjustments are needed for aligned Key Results.
  • If the metric in the parent outcome changes, Key Results with an Aligning relationship will automatically update to reflect this.

Business Outcomes: Manage BO Notifications

Email Notifications and Email Reminders can be set to update Owners and Sponsors of the Business Outcomes cards. Company Admins and Business Line Admins can update the notifications.

Email Notifications can be turned on or off, and can be set to send daily or immediately.

You can view the email template that will be sent for each notification and reminder by selecting the envelope icon on the righthand side.

When selecting the icon, you will see the sample of the email that will be sent for the given notification.

Available Email Notifications:

  1. Users will be notified when a card or item is assigned to them (Owners or Sponsors of the card, checklist items, or obstacle)
  2. Users will be notified when anything on the card changes they own or items they are assigned to (excluding sponsors)
  3. Dropdown selection for sponsors to be notified of either Health, Status, or Obstacles on the card (one, two, or all three of these options can be selected)
  4. Dropdown selection for teams to be notified when the status of a card assigned to them is moved to complete (Outcome, Project, and Deliverable cards are all options)

Available Email Reminders:

Reminders can be set by days and weeks before a due date.

  1. Reminder to be sent before Checklist due date
  2. Reminder to be sent before Obstacle due date

Open Ended Competency Headers

To better align with the wording of assessment questions, the open ended competency headers have been updated on the radar results page.

  • Strengths has changed to Achievements
  • Improvements has changed to Growth Opportunities
  • Impediments has changed to Organizational Obstacles

High Variance Treatment Optimized Algorithm

The objective is to reduce the overall average score of a team where the assessment has high variance amongst team member responses (shown as gray shading in competencies between the highest and lowest score). This will only apply to maturity competencies following the removal of outliers. In some cases, this will take a team Agility Index Score from a Run/Fly state to a Walk state.

When is the HVT Calculation treatment applied?

The High Variance Treatment will be applied for team assessments in following steps:

  • Using an outlier treatment (using IQR Method), upper outliers are removed across maturity competencies
  • Using statistical algorithmic techniques, the maturity competency scores will be pulled down (if Coefficient of Variation > 30%), by a reduction factor of either 0.50, 0.75 or 1.00 (based on user settings)

* Note:

  • Coefficient of Variation is the distance between the mean (average of member scores) from each individual member score
  • Optimal Reduction Factor: 0.5 (Higher the reduction factor, higher the adjustment applied on each competency)

Where will I see it?

This adjusted score will be automatically reflected across the platform (i.e., Radar Results Page, Growth Journey, Benchmark, API , and Enterprise Agility Dashboard)

If you’re interested please let your CSM know, and they’ll be happy to turn this on for you!

Structural Agility: Role Allocations

Role Allocations can now be set at the N-Tier, Enterprise, and Multi-Team level, dependent upon your selection in the left-hand navigation hierarchy.

By default, Role Allocations set at the Company level will cascade down to all hierarchy levels, unless there is an existing allocation for a specific role at any level of hierarchy.

Role Allocations set at any level within the hierarchy will cascade down to all subordinate levels within that hierarchy. For instance, if Role Allocations are set at the Enterprise level, they will automatically apply to all Multi-Teams under that Enterprise, unless an allocation is specifically overridden at the Multi-Team.

Please note, Role Allocations cannot be set at the Team level.

Structural Agility: Allocation per Team

The Allocation per Team widget shows roles set for Role Allocations. Now you will see a 0 under Actual if there are no members in that role on a team.
