Understanding the Teams Dashboard
The Teams Dashboard is the first page most users see when logging into AgilityHealth®. Depending on your user permissions, you may see an image like the one below or an image with fewer or more rows. This dashboard shows how the teams within your company are organized in AgilityHealth. By clicking on a team, you will be taken to that team's assessment dashboard, where all their assessment results are stored.
Button Functionality
View Button
The View button allows you to view the teams on the dashboard in either a swim lanes view or grid view.
The swim lanes view displays each team’s icon and their team name, organized by work type and team tags.
The grid view is a tabular view of all your teams with additional information such as the number of assessments this team completed, the date of their last assessment, and how the team is tagged.
State Button
The State button allows you to filter which teams you see on the dashboard by their status - either active or archived. You can easily switch between views by clicking the button again. The archived view is used to restore a team.
Add a Team Button
The Add a Team button will allow you to create a team, multi-team, enterprise team, or n-tier team.
Follow page-by-page guides for adding teams, multi-teams, enterprise teams, and n-tier teams.
Swim Lane View
Each swim lane, or colored bar, represents a different type of team.
Teams are in blue swim lanes and grouped by the tags that are added when the team is created. These tags include work type, methodology, product line, program, portfolio, business line, and strategic objectives. Tags are used to create multi-team radars, which are roll-up radars comprised of teams with the same tag.
By clicking on the team’s icon, you can go to that team’s assessment dashboard and view their assessments.
The orange swim lanes are a grouping of several teams into one parent team, called multi-teams. Multi-teams are grouped by the multi-team type label that is added when the multi-team is created. Multi-team types reflect the level of the organization, such as program, product line, business units, and portfolio, or the purpose of the team, such as growth management. This provides an aggregated view of the radar results for the selected programs, business units, or product lines and allows leaders to review and act on organizational growth items.
When you click on the team icon for a multi-team, you’ll be taken to the multi-team radar combining data from all the teams included in that multi-team.
The green swim lanes are a grouping of portfolio or product multi-teams that may make up your entire organization or a division of your organization, called enterprise teams. Enterprise teams are grouped by the enterprise team type label that is added when the enterprise team is created. This provides an aggregated view of the radar results for the selected programs, business units, or product lines and allows senior business leaders to review and act on enterprise growth items.
To view the roll-up radar, just click on the team’s icon.
N-tier teams are another level of hierarchy that allows enterprise teams to be rolled up, or other n-tier teams to be rolled up. N-tier teams are not visible in the swim lane view of the Teams Dashboard but are visible in the grid view. Most customers do not use n-tier teams but if you would like this option enabled for your company, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Filtering Your View
In the swim lanes view, you can click on the green sidebar to the left of the first team on your dashboard to filter your view by specific team tags. For example, you can filter to view only the teams in a certain portfolio, program, business units, or work type (software development, support, business teams, etc).
There are several filter options to display teams throughout your company. The filter displays are dependent on specific tags that have been created or utilized within your team creation process. When you click on the <> icon in green, a menu will display all filterable options available.
Expand All / Collapse All Button
The Expand All button will expand all the rows on the Team Dashboard and is only available in the swim lanes view.
If you click Expand All, the button will then change to say Collapse All, which will collapse the rows when clicked again.
If you wish to expand or collapse a single row in the swim lanes view, simply click on the blue, green, or orange-colored swim lane colored bar.
Edit, Archive or Delete a Team
You can edit, archive, or delete a team by hovering over their team avatar and choosing either the blue pencil icon to edit or the red cabinet icon to archive or delete a team. Learn how to edit, archive, or delete a team.
Grid View
The grid view is a tabular view of all your teams with additional information such as the number of assessments this team completed, the date of their last assessment, and how the team is tagged.
Filter Your View
You can choose to filter by team type by choosing an option from the menu with "All" in the box. You can also type in a team name, work type, team tag, or external identifier in the search bar to filter.
You can filter by assessment date using the two date filters. This will filter on the last assessment date for each team that has completed an assessment within the range selected.
Click the Reset button to clear all filters.
Sort and Add/Remove Columns
To sort data in the columns, click the down arrow by any column and sort in ascending or descending order. You can select and deselect which columns you can see on the dashboard by clicking the down arrow next to any column and hovering over "Columns" in the drop-down. Then simply check or uncheck the appropriate columns.
Company Admins love being able to see what teams, multi-teams, and enterprise teams are linked together using the Sub-Teams, Multi-Teams, and Enterprise Teams columns.
