Structural Agility: People by Role and Distribution Widgets

People by Role Widgets
Based on the team(s) in the level you have selected in the Left Nav, the People by Role widgets display information for how many team members are in each role by Work Type. Roles are identified via the Role(s) added to their team member profile. Work Type is identified by the team's Work Type tag and you can select the Work Type you wish to see data for in the drop-down at the top of the widget.
Up to five roles are displayed in these widgets. Scrum Master and Product Owner roles will always display if they are assigned to team members in the team. The other three roles that display are those held by the highest percentage of team members in the team. The Others category represents team members with roles other than the five roles displayed in the widgets. The Unassigned category represents team members with no role assigned to them. To edit/add roles for team members, you will need to edit the team and team members.
In the People by Role Widget, the data displayed is the average distribution of people by Role by Work Type for the level selected in the left navigation. When team members are on multiple teams, they are counted as one role only.
In the People Distribution Widget, the data displayed is the average distribution of people by Role by Work Type broken down into sub-teams of the level selected in the left navigation. When team members are on multiple teams, they are counted as one for each team.
The below examples show results for a company based on the work type of Software Delivery in the first example and Business Operations in the second. Notices that the Roles displayed differ based on what Roles are associated with the teams in their respective Work Types.
